Comrades,

I'm looking for a couple of items for my PPSh:

Front Sight Hood - needs to be the 'clamp' style found on the earlier guns. There is a small groove on either side of the sight base for it (see photo below).

WWII Period Stick Magazine - I only need one in good condition for use during public displays. I have plenty of the postwar ones with the smooth sides for tacticals.

Any help/suggestions would be grand. Spaciba!

No worries on the mag. However, if someone knows where I can track down one of the early front sight hoods, I would be eternally grateful.

Really not sure - I've never seen one. Have you tried Marstar etc.?

I have a feeling this particular sight hood is going to be extremely hard to track down. I can't even find a good photo of one.

Thanks for the tip. I've sent inquiries to Marstar and Collector's Source. Only CS has sent a reply, but they don't have one. It looks like I'll have to keep checking on the various auction sites to see if one shows up.
