Hi all,

I've just been offered a de-act PPSh or free. It's in very good condition complete with drum magazine.

I've no idea how much I would have to pay for one, any ideas, as I am going to give the bloke something but don't want to insult him.

Cheers

SHould be about the 150 mark for a new spec and about 450-500 for an old spec.

Then you will have the most expensive part of your Red Army getup and be well on your way to joining us....

Ryton told me two weeks ago that their new consignment was in the country and just waiting for customs clearance.

They may have them by now.

Ryton now have PPSh-41 and PPS-43 on their site for 185.00.

As with all their Russian kit they are post war refurbs in unissued condition.

They also say thay they will be getting 44 pattern carbines in shortly.

I note there is an old spec PPSh-41 on Milweb at the moment dated 1951.

I assume by this time production must have moved to one of the Soviet client states?

The date is stamped on the top of the PPSh41.

Look at this web site

http://www.ppsh41.com/

They are not realy worth enough to warrant doing repro markings.
