Hello All!!
I am new to Renacting and i thought i should get to grips with prices!

I got an original Uniform: £35 (it dosent come with boots :!: )

Kersey Boots:£35 (very pricey i think!! on a site i found you have to pay extra for size 11's) i could do with some cheaper if anybody knows anywhere???

A mosin nagant with sling: £120

PPSh 41 (round drum): £130

DP(the LMG with frying pan magazine) £150

I don't know if these are good prices!!!!! could you tell me please :!: :?:

Dont know ruskey uniform prices, but weopons wise, it depends on dates, condition, etc

Wether they are wartime/pre war, made in the soviet union, or postwar, possibly other warsaw pact made.

Those three are fair enough. :D

well the mosin was only produced from 1930 to 1943 so i am preety sure that is war time piece and it says on the website that they have seen action so....
the PPSh i don't have a clue but it looks in good condition so could be after war
the DP again is pre and war time so im preety sure they are war time ones.

comrades what is a good price for a maxim?

Comrade,

35 quid for a uniform is probably not going to yield a M43 pattern uniform... are you sure? I suppose it could but its more likely a M69...

Sapogi (boots) from FrontofRussia.com are I believe US$40, which is about 21 quid. Plus of course postage and Western Union Fees... if you can find them for 35 quid delivered, take them!

Which MN is that? Be careful what you are getting... carbine or full sized rifle? Soviet made? and does it include cleaning rod and bayonet? Is the sling a Soviet one? Maybe 120 is a good price, maybe not...

The PPSh41 sounds not a bad price. Check condition, check date if you are fussy. Check its Soviet...

DP - Same as with the PPSh, make sure of the details! Also, unless you particularly want it for your collection, find out from whichever unit you want to join whether or not they would have use for you with a DP28... perhaps a rifle would be a better start! Certainly once you have carried the awkward thing around a bit you'll be wishing for a nice light rifle...

The uniform i dnt have the faintest wether it is M43 or M69 (bear in mind it is very very basic)......

Thx about the boots...cos i was really unsure about them.......

Mosin was definatly a proper one not a carbine....(i bought it from world wide arms and thy say if it is)...

The PPSh and DP are both from Sherwood and the PPSh say FROM RUSSIA in big capitals and the DP has it in small letters (but you have stated a true point that i dnt really need it)

Thx for your help guys!!!!!
