Hi,

What is the best source for .30 and .50 blanks? I have found a guy selling .50 blanks on speedbid in the past but it was all the plastic case stuff and I'd prefer brass.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Matt.

I presume that by .30 blanks that you mean the 30.06 that the rifles and garands use and not the M1 carbine.

If so I have a couple of thousand 30.06 red tipped brass blanks.

P.M. me if interested.

Captain

I am sure he means empty cases.
What is the legality of buying bullet heads from overseas?

I do mean empty.

The sell describes them as

"50 Cal" HOLLOW JACKETS

All tracer jackets have been popped no lead no tracer compound, They are hollow.
Condition "As Is". Excellent for making your own dummy ammunition!!!

HOW WE SELL

Perfectly safe, Totally legal. All of our dummy ammunition is completly inert. There are no primers or powders.

We specialize in "Dummy Ammo" and new and used military items. These items are sold as is . ALL SALES FINAL!!

Please do own research prior to bidding.

Don't buy any type of bullet head that is subject to UK Licensing or that is of a Prohibited type.

So don't buy Hollowpoint, Softpoint, Tracer, Incendiary, Armour Piercing, etc.

The types you should have no problem with are Plain Lead (not relevant to WW2 or military use) or normal Ball (FMJ)
I say 'should' have no problem with, as if you import a couple of thousand heads, the authorities might want to know why you want them. They might suspect the person importing them is a terrorist intent on manufacturing ammunition.

Just to clarify, I'm refering to the bullet head only, not complete rounds, and not cases.
